Status of Lucy School

Lucy School will be opened Tuesday, Feb 9th. We recognize that all families may not be able to make it, but look forward to seeing all of you that can. Forecasted snow in the afternoon may require an early closing. We will keep close watch. Please make plans for such an eventuality. The driveway at the school had been cleared, but because of the volume of snow, it is adequate for only a single line of traffic. Parking is extremely limited, so for the remainder of this week we are asking that you not plan to visit during the school day.
_Road conditions around the school: Frostown, Mt. Tabor and Milt Summers roads have been plowed and are open to traffic. The width of each of these roads, however, has also been diminished due to snow on
the sides. There are some ice spots on all these roads, that seem to be melting today, but small areas are likely to re-freeze overnight. Be especially careful at the sharp curve on Milt Summers.

The signing up process was quick and easy, I thought the price was reasonable for the peace of mind it gives me to know I will receive and alert no matter where I am. I think it is a great idea.

I LOVE your service. I work 1 hour away from my daughter's schooling and this service helps a lot. The direct text to my husband's phone is GREAT since he always has his phone with him.

...on the 11th, when phones and computers were stressed if working at all, it was incredibly relieving to get your emails. For those of us who work downtown, and needed a LOT of time to get home, all I needed to know was that my children were going to be safe in school for awhile until I could get home.
