Open Arms will be posting all weather-related program changes here at schoolsout.com. The center's weather policies can be found in our Parent Handbook (available on our website).

In general, Open Arms follows the Federal Government's weather-related delayed opening or closing recommendations. ie: If the Federal Goverment opens/closes 2 hours early, so too will Open Arms, etc.

The Half-Day Program (classes with animal names) also follows the same closing schedule as the Loudoun County School system. If public schools are closed due to inclement weather then Half-Day Program classes will be cancelled. We also have modified scheduling for 1 or 2 hour delays. For both 1 and 2 hour delays, morning classes run 10:15a-12:15p or 10:30a-12:30p and afternoon classes run 1:30p-3:30p. Developmental pre-k (Giraffes) runs 10:15a-1:50p.
