Winter is finally here! As a reminder, we are posting our weather-related center closing policies here at schoolsout.com. If you have any questions, please refer to your Parent Handbook or call the center:

Open Arms follows the Federal Government's weather-related delayed opening or closing recommendations. ie: If the Federal Goverment opens/closes 2 hours early, so too will Open Arms, etc.

The Half-Day Preschool Program should follow the same rules as the Loudoun County School system. If public schools are closed due to inclement weather then Half-Day Preschool classes will be cancelled.

If you have subscribed to schoolsout.com, you will receive an alert should any changes occur to Open Arms normal business hours. Any questions, please call the center directly. (You can also find the link to schoolsout.com on our website at www.openarms-ccdc.org)

Testimonials

  • The signing up process was quick and easy, I thought the price was reasonable for the peace of mind it gives me to know I will receive and alert no matter where I am. I think it is a great idea.

  • I LOVE your service. I work 1 hour away from my daughter's schooling and this service helps a lot. The direct text to my husband's phone is GREAT since he always has his phone with him.

  • ...on the 11th, when phones and computers were stressed if working at all, it was incredibly relieving to get your emails. For those of us who work downtown, and needed a LOT of time to get home, all I needed to know was that my children were going to be safe in school for awhile until I could get home.
